Since 2019, we have discovered the power that comes when councils or multi-academy trusts or independent school groups sign-up together. We’ve experimented with different models but so far the most impressive results are coming from a centralized model where there is strong coordinated leadership for climate change education at the Council, Trust or independent school groups. Not only does this mean we are able to scale more quickly, but it also has the added benefit of delivering high impact results including the opportunity for cross-school cross-disciplinary learning and team building that strengthens confidence, builds capacity and momentum.
